We’re ready for our first on-site training at The Capital Grille!
Rewind to last week.
In a recent meeting, the staff at The Capital Grille in Uptown were brainstorming on ways to give back to the community. For those of you that don’t know, we have a wonderful relationship with none other than their Executive Chef, Mo Assi. Mo has been a dear friend of ours for years and has even agreed to be one of our “Celebrity Chefs,” providing a recipe or two for the Cafe when we finally open our brick & mortar location.
Upon hearing this, Mo gave us a call and proposed an idea that will help us to fulfill our dream of providing a place of training and employment for adults with special needs.
This Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, six Future Teammates of Hugs Cafe will be joining the staff of The Capital Grill in the kitchen for some intensive on-site training! They will be learning to prepare the Adult Grilled Cheese sandwiches and their famous Tomato Soup.
Our Teammates could not be more excited!
This is the first of many events similar to this throughout the DFW Metroplex as we continue to work with local area Chefs to help our vision become a reality.
